make art 2007 : mission accomplished!

For a week from 3rd to 8th of April 2007, Poitiers (France) became the stage for a Free and Open Source digital art effervescence.
A constructive festival packed into a few days, make art invited almost 40 international artists and lecturers to achieve a rich and complete programme, with installations, performances, lectures and a workshop.

make art would like to thank all the people who helped GOTO10 to fulfill this second festival edition :

• all the organisations who gave us financial, technical and logistical support support,
• all the GOTO10 members and volunteers who put in so much effort and time to make this project a reality,
• a special "thank you" to the organisations Babels.org and ALIS who made professional translation for all the lectures possible,
• the Piksel festival (BEK/NO) for being an important partner and a great inspiration for make art,
• and finally a big "thank you" to all the audience who came to Poitiers or connected to the stream to participate in make art.

The next edition of make art will take place at the end of Autumn 2008. By then, the videos of make art 2007 will be available for download here. Watch this space!
